Kiddie Ski Bar Apple Rise
RECOMMENDED AGE: 1-3 & 1-6
The KID-SKI Kiddie Ski Bar has two fun uses -- 1) teaching a child to downhill ski starting as early as age 1; and 2) backyard "ski-sliding."
1. LEARN to SKI, AGES 1-3:
Parents can now start teaching their children to ski only 2-3 months after they learn to walk by giving them lots of slide-time and fun on the Kiddie Ski Bar. The Kiddie Ski Bar is like a mini T-bar with a handle that gives stability to child and control to parent. Start by walking beside your child; then progress to skiing beside your child. Parents should be something better than intermediate skiers (i.e., advanced or experts) to be on skis. Always use the KID-SKI Tip Lock with the Kiddie Ski Bar, and the KID-SKI Kiddie Lift is highly recommended. The KID-SKI Happy Skis (plastic) work great with the Kiddie Ski Bar.
2. BACKYARD SKI-SLIDING, AGES 1-6:
The Kiddie Ski Bar also makes a great towing device for backyard “ski-sliding.” With child in tow, parents can take walks in the backyard, on snow-covered golf courses, cross-country trails, frozen lakes, city parks, or wooded trails. Only a half inch of snow is necessary. It's a fun way to spend time enjoying some snow play and outdoor exercise for both parent and child. Use the KID-SKI Tip Lock with the Kiddie Ski Bar for much easier ski-sliding. Plus, the Kiddie Lift always makes life easier!
KIDDIE SKI BARS --> 1-PIECE vs. 2-PIECE:
The 1-piece and 2-piece Kiddie Ski Bars look and function exactly the same, except the 2-piece model comes apart, so is more convenient for travelling, especially on airplanes. Both Kiddie Ski Bars are made of hardwood dowels, but the 2-piece model also has telescoping aluminum tubing, which separates easily with a push-button when breaking it down for travel.
Dimensions:
Kiddie Ski Bar/1-piece ..... 54" x 12" x 1.5"
Kiddie Ski Bar/2-piece ..... 27" x 12" x 1.5" and 32" x 4" x 1.5"
Don't forget to add KID-SKI Happy Skis (for ages 1-3) to your Shopping Basket if you are interested!
NOTE: You may review the 5-step "KID-SKI Learning Progression" to understand when to use which combinations of teaching aids. Just click on the green blinking graphic below ("All About KID-SKI"); then click on item # 7 in the contents box. However, the KID-SKI Instructional DVD also goes over the Learning Progression in detail.
